I don't know the paint code, but there are spec sheets for it on the Extreme Rage site Don't be shocked by the price though through TVR dealers it's about £850 per litre.

House of kolor do a finish called prism effect, which is sort of similar.
My car's been resprayed in HOK Prism over silver, the results of which can be seen in the pics in my profile, or if you want more, there's shed loads here ;

Thanks Stu!

The only thing putting me off the colour was the price! Your car looks amazing! Just what I am after....

Do you have any more details please? What silver did you use as a base paint? My body is at the painters at the moment getting ready for primer. Do you have any of the paint codes for the silver and top coat?

Many Thanks,

Mart

No problem matey, thanks for the comments smile
Must say though, it looks so much better in the flesh than a crappy camera phone picture can depict, but you get the idea. The pics look quite good but to the eye it's infinately better looking, the effect is amazing. Would look incredible on the lines of your car yes
It's not the cheapest out there, but i'm really pleased with it and glad I chose it over the alternatives.

As for paint codes;
The silver used is House of Kolor BC02 Orion Silver with a hint of pearl added.
The Prism effect is (MBC04) Prism Effect.
The car was basecoated in white before any colour was laid down.

The beauty of the prism effect is you can put it over pretty much any colour and change the effect it gives, I was looking for a spectraflair kind of effect and decided on that, very pleased I did. The guys who painted the car were over the moon with the paint itself, much preferred it to the tvr/rage equivelents.

I used a bodyshop called Heaton Park Coachworks up here in the north east who really are superb. Quality of the work done is second to none if I say so myself. According to the guys at HOK mine was the first and only car to be done entirely in Prism effect, so it shouldn't be too common smile

I'll dig a proper camera out and get some better shots of her as I've spent the last week detailing it to get the most shine I can and do the paint justice, so it looks much better.

Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Stu.

oh and some details for House of Kolor UK.

House of Kolor
UNIT 24 Ogden Road
Shaw Lane Industrial Estate
Doncaster,
South Yorkshire
DN2 4SQ
Tel: 01302-341788 | Fax: 01302-344153 | Email: hokuk@adpcc.co.uk | Web: www.houseofkolor.co.uk

Really nice bunch of guys to deal with I might add.

If you want to have a thumb through their colour chips, give them a bell if there's not an bodyshop near you with their chips in, they're a nice bunch of guys. Chip books are 40 quid a throw, but they'll send you one out, let you have a thumb through and refund it for you when you send it back. Be warned, it's drool worth stuff.

Last thing I can think of that's relevant is don't scrimp on the price of a respray or the materials, I was really quite nervous about costs as I'm not massively hung up on special paints etc, more into go before show. But I'm very pleased I took the plunge and went for the fancy stuff, it just gives the car an entirely unique look and it's own personality, which sets it aside from the usual silvers and so on.

If there's anything else I can help with let me know.
Cheers,
Stu

took a quick video of it for you as it's a nice night.
It's lost a bit of quality in uploading though unfortunately, and the camera can't pick the true effect up, but hopefully you should get at least an idea of what it's like, it was much stronger an effect to the eye as the sun was bright, but the camera's automatic adjustments for the light and so on kind of took some of the effect away, as did photobucket encoding it.
Forgot to turn the mic off so apologies for the windy soundtrack.

Again many thanks for the details. I will post you a pic when completed!
