Spotted VXR8

Yep while cruising through Stirling this afternoon I came across a black VXR8 in a driveway. So out I got, went up to the door and after muttering no I aint some kind of escaped lunatic discovered its a dealer car being played with by the head of the Arnold Clark Vauxhall dealerships and they have 3 more - 1 of each colour in stock. So I stopped off and had a look in the showroom of the dealer he had directed me to and lo and behold a nice shiny silver one was there in the front row. Must say I like the silver - not the usual Vauxhall Star Silver - much softer and much greater depth of colour. Black also looks stunning up close but those plastic bits around the front fogs and the bottom of front spoiler just make the car look cheap - think if I was going to buy one I'd ask for them to be colour coded before taking delivery.

The guy wont be popping in here though - he really couldn't care less about the cars as long as he sells them and makes a few quid, he also made a few disparaging remarks which I wont repeat here about the brand. On the plus side he does seem to be enjoying the car and he did say if I popped in they'd sort out a test drive no problem. And he just bought 2 VXR's through network Q for his sales managers to muck about in so he can't be all bad :-)
