Coolant sensor

Hi guys
Does anyone know where the coolant sensor for the fans is,and is the same part as for the sensor for the gauge on the pod.Out of interest is it expected that the tuscan runs in traffic a few degrees hotter in the summer than other times?

Paul,Two different sensors on the head, the one for the Instrument pod is cheaper and unreliable, the other for ECU is more expensive and better. Hence they give different readings, also positioned in different places. Quite interesting to monitor using PC ECU s/w loooking at temps and fans switching on and off and compare it with Pod readings...Pod can show 95/96, but fans have already switched on and ECU temp is down to 90. Quite a lag between the two and they read different.
