Has McLaren's new motorhome gone too far...
Discussion
As each F1 season passes, we continue to see the team bosses playing the my dicks bigger than yours with their motorhomes. The vast new shiny grey tower that is McLaren's motorhome looks out of place in the F1 pits and should be on a trading estate in Reading's own silicon valley!
Although Red Bull's motorhome is huge, it is very open plan and lots of entertainment for all to see, even the Journalists think that McLaren's new centre is poor and over the top.
Does this really make McLaren look good?
Have they gone too far up their own arses now to even care about it?

Surely there's enough excitement in F1 this season for you not to have to concern yourself with the dimensions of McLaren's motorhome?!
I'm just waiting for greenpeace to form a protest ring around it, given that it takes something like a dozen artics to shift the thing. Soap-shy interfering commies..

your absolutley right.
They should have no-where private for a team of 100's to go, the entire team, marketing, engineers, drivers etc should all have to sit on deckchairs in the paddock in full view of everyone.
They shouldn't be allowed laptops either! They should be doing all their calculations on Abacus'
Hey, you know what, rather than them racing cars around the circuit - maybe we should make them run round instead!!! it'd certainly be better for the spectators, and would certainly improve overtaking!

i guess the point is the teams complain about the costs and attribute it all to the FIA but dont seem to be doing much themselves to reduce individual outgoings. ExactlyIt was once reported that McLaren spent more on their pit crew clothing than Minardi would spend on racing for a year!!!
I beleve the FIA have been setting an example by having a new 'value based' van..

You amateur.
If you're going to start a thread like this, you need to call it:
"Is this the end for Mclarens new Motorhome?" or something similar...

and then tell us all how Kimi does so much more with less space in the Ferrari motorhome
