s2 speedo

speedo on my s2 does not work, it stays on 0. m.p.h. all the time.when i am driving, the only time it does work, is when i break, it goes from o m.p.h -20 m.p.h. for about 2 seconds then back to 0.m.p.h. any ideas. thank phil.

I suggest you take it out & send it off to 'speedy cables' who can test, repair etc

this is really the only course of action as it is almost impossible to find a replacement... I want one too you see !!

Mine does the same altough not a hint of movement at all, just sits at o mph. Could it not be the sender unit on the gear box? Since the S2's do not have speedo cables there is a good chance this is the problem. Granada part apparently - need to get one and try it myself as could save the hassle of stripping out and sending the speedo away.
