GRIFF GROWL 2007. Essex & Herts Convoy.
Discussion
Gents,
For those Griffiths heading up to the Growl from Essex and Herts, we are proposing the following routes and times but welcome any feedback if this doesn’t appeal.
Two meet points. For the South Essex group, the plan is to meet at the Holiday Inn in Brentwood at 8.45am and depart no later than 9.00am. The Holiday Inn is just off junction 28 of the M25 (where the A12 joins) along Brook Street, see below map.

From here, we proceed to the second meet point being South Mimms Services (as last year) aiming to arrive at 9.30am for a departure of 10.00am.
From South Mimms the proposed route is a follows:
M25 (J20) onto A41 to Aylesbury
A413 to Buckingham
A422 Brackley
A422 (over M40 J11)
A422 to Ettington
Apparently best to go around Aylesbury and Buckingham.
Can you please email me or post here by Friday if you are planning to meet at these points so that we do not leave without you, or if you have any views on the plans above.
I am happy to provide a mobile contact number by email, but not on the forum. So if you want a contact number just in case on the day, please email me.
Shawn.

Any chance you could keep the convoy speed sub sonic please...
As long as we don't have any late arrivals and to make up time, shouldn't be a problem
Also, I'm not 100% for the convoy as not sure if i can delegate my family stuff

Looks like my car aint going to be back on the road... wiating for speedo back from speedy cables which it needs for MOT
Aint having the best of luck with cars at the moment, my every day hack is in the body shop as well.
I've been religated to the company Skoda :shame: it's the VRS so not all bad.
