Never really been a fan of the Gallardo. im too big them and the first time i cought one in the corner of my eye i thought it was a celica. I was fortunate to meet a chap from ecurie with there most beutifull gallardo cab at hrowen in london. The contrast of the leather and bodywork works just right and the guys at e25 seemlike a nice lot too. Had a good chat and came away with the impression that the company is run and maintained by piston heads. Managed to see a matt silver enzo and a black in silver bug too!

The whole point of this was I was going to use the granturismo as a run around but now im thinking ive changed my mind.

Interesting comment. I'm over 6 foot 2 and 18 Stone and have no problems in the Gallardo at all, so you must be seriously tall. I had a guy in the car on saturday who was 6 foot 5 and he had no issues.
As for looking like a Celica I don't agree at all. Personally I think the Gallardo is one of the best looking supercars available. Certainly dosent look like a jap rice burner.

Andy.

No, it looks like 2 - Celica as you're about to be overtaken and an MR2 once you have been biggrin

Didn't know there was a UK silver Enzo or was it on overseas plates?

Yep. UK plated one, it minces around Chelsea and Kensington from time to time

Hey it was just a casual observation. The car just looks small, im sure id fit in one but tbh id look stupid geting out of one...i need a wide car like a merci imo. The matt silver one is a respray and the its not been done right. Its not quite matt enough it looks like theres a problem with the clearcoat layer. The dudes had his mc12 done correctly tho...its a stunner apparently.

Take off the badges, and show the front only, and I reckon many people in the street would put the wrong badges on the cars.

The lights might be similar but it's a bit like saying that an Aston V8 Roadster looks like a Honda S2000. Those EU fools are making it more and more difficult to design distinctive cars.

Anyone else got any other doppelgangers worth mentioning?
