One year old and washers packed in!

Hi All

I have a 330d M Sport and the window washers have packed in, I read here somewhere that this was a common problem. I've tried the search but with no joy.

Is this covered under the warranty as it due a service in the next 1000 miles .

It depends on the cause as to if it is covered by warranty, many of the washer faults we have had have been caused by a bacteria build up in the wash bottle that blocks the strainer filter at the pump seal.It looks like stringy wet tissue paper.

This is usually caused by non BMW screenwash and or filling up with unclean water, you have to remove and clean out the washer bottle and renew the pump seal/strainer.
