Mines exactly the same - 104.6db. For 100db days I use the track day silencers from act and they drop it to 99db

When they ask you to rev it to whatever rev limit (4k) rev a bit under if you can.

All Cerb's rev to 5500, well that's what ALL scrutineers are told!

NEVER admit what a Cerb' revs to, and you'll be fine.

Just be careful the last track day I went to, there were 2 guys 1 holding the db meter by the exhust and 1 looking through the drivers window at the rev counter.

My 4.2 with sports pipes used to hit 108db @ 4,000 revs. Drop it to 3,500 and you should be fine smile

Run it up slowly - don't overrev as they take a peak reading. It's quite hard as it's a fine adjust on the throttle.
...and take it down slowly. Don't let it backfire.

Yeah, that big lazy V8 only revs to just about 6 in our car...

smile

Once got done for being too noisy after saying it revs to 7krpm whilst a decatted sports exhaust S6 Cerb was allowed straight through as it only revved to 5500! smile We learnt a lesson that day...

What time and how much is Oulton park on the 29th? I'll be back from my trip to europe and the car will be in Manchester and not back in Scotland.
