Anyone know the part number of these or what they came off originally? Mine has decided to become a little erratic of late in whether it wants to catch or not

Have you tried re-positioning the catch; raising it a little may improve the connection without ruining the boot lid fit

Mine was similar when I bought it, just cleaned and lubed the mechanism and the cable (as best I could) and its not done it since. Seemed the spring in the catch mechanism wouldn't pull the cable back from the solenoid due to stale grease?

ETA: I'll call Neil in the morning to describe what I mean winkbiglaugh

I have cleaned a load of old gunk out and it has improved. I have also moved the top bit down a little to see if it improves the catch. The problem is with the part that comes over making a decent connect with the latching part..
