I hope you get some people to sign up for it, sounds a bit of fun, a good breakfast followed by a drive down to Silverstone. I can assure all those that choose to join you they will be made welcome by the competing teams and will be able to have a look at the cars and speak to many of the drivers.

If someone could pick me up a bacon butty on the way and drop it off to the 911virgin garage it would be much appreciated !

Already we have an eclectic mix of cars sign up for the Tour24, including a Morgan, three Lotus, a Ferrari, two Aston Martins, two Porsches, numerous hot-hatches and thirty other interesting cars. It promises to be a petrolheads pilgrimage to Silverstone – with the road cars reflecting the diverse range of cars that will be actually racing in the 24 hours.

Drivers will arrive at TyreFort, Birmingham at 10.00am where they will be treated to breakfast and
a Dunlop goodie bag. From here this eclectic mix of cars, including Aston Martins
and Porsches, will be waved off by a young car enthusiast from Birmingham
Children’s Hospital, to follow a specially designed route where they can experience
the Dunlop “thrill of the drive”. Whilst at Silverstone a number of lucky ticket holders
will win a number of once in a life time opportunities. These include waving the
chequered flag, grid walks and even the chance to present the winning race team
with their trophy.

The event will include, a weekend ticket to attend the Britcar 24 hour endurance race
at Silverstone where race teams will compete to see who is the UK’s best endurance
race team, use of a hospitality box, grandstand seat and V.I.P parking in Dunlop’s
very own Paddock. Also at the event there will be an airshow, parades, motor clubs
and a funfair. Tickets can be purchased on the day at TyreFort for just £15.00
(normally is £35.00) with a £5.00 donation from each ticket going to Birmingham
Children’s Hospital.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Calum Lockie will be speaking at TyreFort during the breakfast and that Rob Huff will also be present for a Q&A session.

It's getting closer!!!
