Nice DB9 / Vantage rear light clusters there..... and what the fudge happened to that interior? Audi A8 crossed with a Vectra..... yucksie.

Anyone make out what it says on the right of the number plate re: the model. Is it 'SV8'?

Love the Jaguar 'Leaper' on the bootlid.

looks like it says SV8, afaik theyre gonna do a 'luxury' V8 and R version , maybe this stands for 'Super V8'?

News regarding interior are very positive as weel.
4 Air vent appearing when entering the car, blue lights, high quality material everywhere.
Quite a few people already saw (not only press) and so far nobody was disappointed. Everybody telling it is going to be the new stat of art!!Official pictures to come by august 28

The supercharged 4.2 V8 will not be the R version since the R version will get the 5 liters supercharged.
Super V8 should be the V8 SC

So from this can we determine, from 2009, the XFR, XKR and XJR will all be 500BHP 5.0ltr and the 'regular' normally aspirated 4.2 V8 engine will be the entry level with the 4.2 S/C dropped altogether?

Anyone got a pic of the front and interior!

Roll on 28th Aug. Received a letter from Jaguar this week saying info will be shortly coming.

As far as I know the 4.2 SC should be available anyway but I think it will also depend on sales etc
Regarding the XJR you mean the new one not the old one right?

It is still not entirely clear to me what will be the entry level engine.
3.0 v6 or 3.2 6 in line

They are going to have to drop one engine. Maybe as the XF will have the 4.2S/C at launch that the 4.2 will be dropped altogether?

Or maybe they will launch with 4.2 and 4.2SC and then will drop one of the two when the 5 liter will come?

no 'full frontal' pics im afraid but a bit of useless(?) info for ya -

-entry petrol will be 3.0V6 not in-line6

-18" alloys std with 20"s available

-Bi-xenons optional, along with various toys -bowers&wilkins 440w surround sound, TV, Rear Camera, DAB audio, Voice, heated/cooled seats

If the Bowers & Wilkins sound system on the XKR Portfolio is anything to go by, the one in the XF should be something else. I'd be tempted to spend more time in the car than the lounge with the CD collection

Are you sure not the 4.2 300hp?

I am not sure it will at launch but later also the 3.6 V8 td will be available (yeah the one they were not able to fit under the XJ bonnet )

People from Jag is really smart (as they also did with C-XF and XK).
Some people has pictures but if the disclose them they will not have pictures any more in the future )
