Hoping to come along to the Growl, weather permitting, and have a chat with you guys and look at any that are potentially for sale. What is the best time, late sat. a.m.? Do I come to the hotel or elsewhere? Is there parking for those without a Griff. Many thanks

Come to the hotel as Pasco says and we will guide you to the non Tiv parking - we are hoping that there wont be much of that this year due to the inordinate amount of Tivs that we hope will be there

I know I must wait for the right car at the right price and it may take a while, but I can wait as don't want to make a hasty decision and then regret it. Then I noticed a Chimp 4.5 on ebay 2001 with the Griff style lights. I did ponder as it started at £10K and sold for £12.2 with 27K miles. Sure thing that is value for money as Griffs seem to command almost double. I pondered again and came to my senses and did not bid. In the end it is down to getting the product right. I know mechanically and chassis wise there is no difference but I'm hooked on the Griff. concept, it's all down to that once in a life time chance of getting the body design right with near perfect proportions and sweeps. I had the same dilemma with my recent acquistion of an Alfa Romeo Spider. Of course I bought the Duetto model, the Graduate one. My daughter is a designer and she did not hessitate in looking at the mk1/4 variants. I'm sure she would choose the Griff. from the older TIV's. Sorry to go on but I nearly made a mistake which I would have regrettted

I've said this before, but buy the one that talks to you.
You'll know when it happens.
Mine was the first I went to view, and none have spoken to me since. (!)
Griffs are like pets, they choose you.
I'll take you for a ride in Wol if you want.
But he'll tell you he's not for sale.
