Hi Chaps,
Can any one tell me what vehicle or give me a part number for the bush that connects the lower link to the chassis about 50mm across in diameter?
Also can they be replaced without having to remove the whole lower link in situ?
Have just noticed they have fallen to bits !
Any Ideas ?

I guess your talking about the tie bars that connect to the front of the chassis. (not the roll bar drop links)
Ford Granada MKII / Cortina 3/4. OR TVR car parts or RT OR Superflex (poly bushes)

This is one of the best low cost improvements that you can make to a wedge. When I had a 350i mk2 I developed a drop link with a factory engineer. The SH version is much cheaper...

The 50mm ones are the tie bar ones. but it a good idea to do the drop links at the same time, esp for the price they are.

No need to remove the lower wishbone for:
- Tie bar, but having alignment checked will be a good thing. Toe setting is quite important on any a car and also on a wedge.
- Drop link replacement, no issues. Just check that the bushes + brackets still hold the antiroll bar properly to the chassis.
