Wild Wight Weekend

Just returned from another trip to the Isle of Wight and met some of the locals, including a very nice chap who runs a small hotel.

Would there be any interest in an event late September/early October to the Isle of Wight?

Plan would be something like a big barby at the hotel Saturday afternoon, on Sunday we all progress down to the Miltary Road quick hoon, then stop at a big pub down that way for lunch? So people can either come over for 1 night, or more if they wish.

If there is interest I'm happy to look at accomodation, sorting feeding on the Saturday and Sunday at above mentioned places and negotiatie with ferry companies to see what discount can be had, etc.

Thoughts, ideas, questions??

be good to get a few bods over here sometime, october would be a good time for getting some cheap deals out of the ferry companies, around £35 for a weekend return normally.
