what options are available if i were to use my boxster s (2000) as deposit on a £50k 360, im trying to gauge monthly payments and final balloon etc, all help appreciated
There too many variables to say. How many miles has your Boxster done? 1k or 100k? What colour is it? Special order lime green or Black? All these will dictate what your deposit is worth therefore how much you need to borrow. Plus your personal circumstances all depends what rate of finance you will get.Give Rob Johnson a call at Classic and Sports Finance on 01869 329 500. He's arranged the finance on a lot of Phed members high end cars.
Try this if its a balloon type deal you want.

If it's straight finance you want to calculate its very easy to work out.
Difficult to say what the Boxster is worth - £18k ??

I'm not sure why you're on here asking how much a Boxster is worth? You'd be better getting your own idea of what you'll get for the Boxt (or go on Porsche forum), and then simply ask what interest rates people are managing to get.The monthly amounts are obviously tied to the balloon. Some finance plans allow you to choose the balloon and it is not guaranteed, hence you can raise it to lower mthly outgo. Other plans may be gteed and hence the balloons will generally be low in order to protect the finance house.
Interest rates seem to be at best 2% around over house rate.
Even though you may not like it or believe it will bear out in reality, a lot of plans will still stick to a 50-60% depreciation over 36mths. So your balloon will be circa£25k.

The boxster trade wise is probably worth 17k ish tops depending on condition.
If you go straight finance without any balloons 4-4.5% is quite easy to get through alot of the bigger dealers, once you add the final payment in though the rate will alter significantly.
Really depends what sort of residual the finance company can put on the other car.
