Swap 355 for a 456?

As the title says I need more room but want a ferrari again mine is a red 96 6 speed twin airbag model 37,000 miles full carbon interior and sills, refurbed wheels and reconollised crema leather. FFSH cambelts recently done sports exhaust etc. Want a 97 onwards "manual" 456.

Any 456 owners??

Yep, have one but not a modificato (prefer the air vents in the bonnet but prefer modificato front grill). Excellent car, no doubt about it.

Pluses are V12 engine, lots of power and unbelievable refinement.

Downs are battery died due to regulator on alternator being faulty. Altogether, lost about 2 months from 12 month ownership due to car being in garage for these two problems; Verdis weren't the most responsive in either case so it would've been less time if I had gone to main Ferrari dealer.

Apart from that, ownership is a joy. Not so sure about parking the car outside in winter though as moisture gets into the cabin so you'll have to wait about 10-15 mins before air con kicks in to rectify .

If you go to http://www.clubscuderia.co.uk you should be able to find all the info you need. Don't listen to people's BS about engines costing £65k and gearboxes costing £x,xxx; load of rubbish as there's a good thread on that site which tells you how much parts cost from Eurospares and it certainly isn't anywhere near that. I've spent bugger all on my car so far (aside from petrol) - about £300. Service coming up soon so happy to tell you what that costs.

I have just put my 456 modificato up for sale, it's the ad that is a day old or so, 1998 car in metallic titanium for £39750. It's a GTA but is a great car with crushing GT abilities. I'm quite interested in a 355, so if you want to talk about a swap let me know?
