Alfa Servicing - specialists in Reading Henley Maidenhead?

Just got the other-half an Alfa Spider 99V and really need a decent independent. Any ideas or recommendations? The Reading main dealer is asking two arms and a leg plus a pound of flesh!

Alfa Aid in Maidenhead?

Some people reckon they're great, I'm not entirely convinced - not had any personal experience of servicing, just bought used parts there and never really felt comfortable with the place.

I now use an Italian specialist in Swindon if you're prepared to go a bit further?

I think that the head gasket is going on my Barchetta, looking at DTR in Mortlake but am aware they charge a premium - can you post the details of the Swindon garage, I might give them a call for a quote.........

You can say that Sarah with the blue Alfa recommended him. My friend Simon sends his 'Grale there too. The guy used to work at an Alfa dealership and is a top chap.

Black & White are good in my personal experience likewise Alfa Aid who have looked after various of my Alfa's for the past nine years. I stayed with them from Old Windsor to Maidenhead on the basis that they do a good job, fairly priced and have been very helpfull over the years.

Used to use Alfa Aid a few years ago & always found them excellent. Also SGT were very good when I had the 75. Not much difference in price to AA.

My brother always used Alfa Aid after SGT refused point blank to even submit an out of warranty claim to Alfa UK for cambelt snapping and ruining his engine @ just under 3yrs and 63000miles.

I can recommend Alfa Aid as well. Very good service and the owner is a nice chap. Drives a 355 so he must be doing something right (or charging too much!) Apparently they are quite fairly priced.
