interesting transmission info

Anyone ever tried the Fiero transmission in an Esprit? From this info, it seems it may be a viable choice if it will fit without too much trouble.

The torque from the V8 also beats up that particular tranny too from talks I've had with the Fiero owners at shows. I'm not sure but I think the engine is mounted side ways in the car.

Correct, the Fiero has a transversely mounted engine.
