Blue Renovo

I have a dark blue roof which almost looks black from a distance. I'm going to use Renovo Reviver to tidy it up a bit, but I'm a bit concerned that the Renovo blue might be too light. Can anybody who has used the blue reviver confirm how dark the colour is?

Alternatively I was considering using black as I would prefer a black roof anyway. Would this work or is this likely to give a patchy finish?

My roof is dark blue (the car's colour is Midnight Blue), and I've used Renovo, but black it ain't! I would describe the final colour as Navy Blue, but that might be because the original colour wasn't that dark. If your's is virtually black, it might work ok. (usual disclaimers apply )

The blue had very little effect on my faded blue roof.

Suspect the key to a better result with the blue is to give the roof a really thorough clean first. Suspect the single wash I did wasn't enough.
