Non sports seats in a Z4Coupe/Roadster?

I'm currently waiting on a Z4 Coupe SE. The Q being how do the standard seats feel.
The car I drove was a sport model and I never gave it a thought until I was looking though some pic the other day.
The problem being I HATE cars that don’t hold you in place. So come on then do the standard seats offer any support???????? The sort of car it is a flat no bolstered seat is just wrong.

I've got a Z4 SE and the seats are not too bad... I do 30k miles per anum and sports seats would be a killer, I find the stock seats fine and quite comfy on the long trips I do. As for lateral support neither are great.The car I drove was a sport model and I never gave it a thought until I was looking though some pic the other day.

, they have more support, look a heck of lot better and imo arent that hard.My Z4 has most options, but given that about a third of my annual mileage is on N and (preferably) D roads in France, I wish I had the sport seat option, the extra support and location when driving at 8/10 and 9/10 must increase the driving satisfaction (I tend to slide about on the standard seats) . I had a sport seat equipped 2.2 as a courtesy car and didn't get a chance for a serious drive, but found them more comfortable too.
I have a theory about leather seats that they are not really suitable for a car used in anger, a decent cloth or alcantara covering tends to offer some resistance as the fibres bind with those of your trousers. This is great in theory, but then the market will demand leather - unless you want to take a bath on the residual.
