E38 BMW 740i Drivers side mirror - Help!!!

Hi All,
Im posting for a mate of mine who is after a drivers side mirror for his 1997 740i after some .....er......TWONK drove straight into it and drove off last night. How charming some drivers are!
Anyone know where he could one from? Or anyone happen to have one kicking about for sale?! He's obviously not going to be picky on colour and have it sprayed if required but his car is oxford green...
The only parts needed are the plastic clip on outside and the mirror glass
He thinks it could be the sane as a 5 series E39.....
