Fellow PHer 'Tol' is Chipsaway near Ely and I can certainly vouch for his work. He's worked on both my cars and even lent me his so I could visit Ely while he did the work. So maybe make a day of it?

Hi Cous'

There's a chap in Yarmouth who's apparently very good, he did some panel work on a client's porsche and also did the respray on Chappells Dad's Cobra (very nice), will find a number for you.

As a note.

You'd be amazed at what can be polished out using fine grade papers and various 'specialist' polishes. May be worth posting a pic of the scratch and showing it to some of the guys in the detailing/bodywork section.

Edited to add, the place is called SMS Panelcraft 01493 652340, just mention you had a recommendation from David Thrower with the Cobra, and he'll sort you out.

Hey Stu - upload the pic to any photosharing site, flickr, picasaweb whatever. Then include in your post the string (pic)url(/pic) - but with square brackets "[" and "]" not "(", where url is the full http: address the photo has on your sharing site.
