I've done a search but the posts are a bit out of date as the tom tom has changed since.

What do people think. Its for the whole family so moving it car to car? My parents can't do anything technical so which is best for them?

Which is best for updates to maps? Are they free?

I want to put speed cameras and maybe "download" europe maps is this possible on either?

Has anyone heard of a bean bag device rather than suction cups to hold the sat nav unit?

Thank you
Simon

Go for a Nuvi, has a hard drive instead of SD card so more reliable and much better quality mapping.

Garmin speed cameras cover all cameras including mobile sites TomTom only do fixed sites.

They do do a bean bag but I think it's only for bigger units not the Nuvis.

I would go for the new Nuvi 200 instead of the 300 though. £169.99 in halfords.
