Gear box oil

Remind me, what oil are we currently using in the T5 box ? if it matters it is a 98 car. Would be ideal if it is availble on the high street, want to do it tomorrow.

Hi Steve i have recently changed my G/Box oil because of the sticky gear change problem and have used the following.(98 Griff 500)

Castrol Driveline Syntrax Universal.

SAE 75W-90,API GL4/GL5.

Purchased from Hellfords and used just over 1 ltr so you will have to buy two 1ltr tubs

This has worked fine for me.

Thanks for that, I seem to have it in my mind that it was auto box oil. There is no problem with mine just want to change it because it has been in there three years.

the original oil was ATF, but this rubbish, I'd also highly recommend the castrol 75W-90
