Dave,

Are you sure it's 1969? Or is the car a Vixen? Any TVR older than 1980 is a Grantura to you 'modernistas'.

A 1959 tank is the Austin one, which fits into the moulding behind the diff on a Grantura Mk1, so a Vixen one won't fit. I can't remember which tank the Grantura has, Austin A45 Cambridge or something similar.

Prize to the first person who finds a useable one of those in a breakers yard...

Oliver.

Hi,
As far as i know the fuel tank for Granturas as in MK1,2,2a is from the pre- farina Austin A55, but i think you can use the A60 etc , you have to shorten the filler neck. Oliver i got one from a breakers yard last year!
Rich (Grantura Mk2a also in bits)

Might be the same as my Griff200's the early 200's were Grantura bodies (well 3 were pure Granturas but they looked like this till later in the 200 run, i.e. not till the later ban the bomb cortina lights came out a bit later).
