I still can't get to the bottom of this. It's a problem a few people report every few months. Bit baffled still...

Symantec Internet Security 2000 running ???

I can't read the adds if it is but they appear if I switch it off which I don't like doing for obvious reasons.

Mel, I have the 2001 Internet Security package so that may well be the answer, and I must confess I`m not too keen to turn it off..

Just tried it and u are quite right.. They all work with Internet Sec off(Except Chimaeras which is the one I want... )

Bugger. No idea what is causing that. They pages use the same ad serving software as the rest of the site, so not sure what the problem is. Beginning to wish I'd stayed in bed this morning.

Ok, well, I have turned off the AD Blocker on the Internet Security and it shows me all ads quite happily but for the Chimeara ones.....Queue the Mission Impossible music...

Yes. I can also access the Griffs, Cerbies, Wedges and Toyota and lorries etc.. but not S or Chimaeras..

Now that I disabled Ad Blocking it isnt too bad, but the one that I want is Chimaeras !!

That's another theory blown then. I'm trying to ascertain what's triggering the perceived security issue with that page. I thought it might be the link to eBay - obviously not if that test page doesn't work either.

It can't be the Flash banners as they are used elsewhere in the site. Any technies know what might be triggering the Symantec product to block it?

I would install the product but I've already got Norton Firewall installed and don't want to get my machine into a pickle!

Yes, I can see the Test Page..And as I said, the Griffs, Toyotas, all sorts really but for the Chimaeras and S threads..

I currently have the Ad Banner permanently switched off...

The package is actually Norton Internet Security 2001 ( It is a Symantec Product - Personal Firewall )

Doh! So I've also got the package that's causing the problems. Let me see if I can reproduce it. What is the option that causes the grief?

On the main page there is an option called Ad Blocking.. Then you have the Enable Ad Blocking indicator, just make sure that is turned off ( I hope that is what you were asking for )

PS, if it is easier for you feel free to mail me offline.

And thanks for your help here
