Will the seats from a cerbera fit straight into the griffith ? or does it need a lot of modification first ?

thanks in advance.

Yep. Me.

The main thing you lose is head room. I barely fit in the darn thing with the lid on now. If anyone has good condition originals I'd be willing to swap.

PS - I'm growling.

Re: The box section spacer that you transfer to the Cerb seats. Couldn't you do away with or lower it?

Dunno mate - it was already done when I bought it. I'm going to have a proper look over the winter, but while we have lidless weather I'm not too worried. wink

In this pic:

They appear to space the locating point forward and upwards. Just looks like there's scope to lower them unless they are needed to set the rake of the seats.

yes good guess that man, and the runners aren't actually that long so dropping the spacers wouldn't do much at all.
There are a couple of different type of Cerbera seats, you should have a look at as many as you can to see if there is a difference in the seat bases.
I'll be at the Growl Saturday if you want a look/sit.

I've got a pair in the Chim but as LG said they do sit a little higher than the normal seat bases.

Damn comfortable though even on long runs yes

D'ya think? The headroom is still fine for Mr Average 5ft 10in, but the view is slightly better. Comfortable though? I have to have spine traction after a long drive! I would go back to the originals if the cerb seats weren't specced on the SE - I think they are much better.
