News item 'sensationalism'
Discussion
This is mainly for the attention of Dimitri Pesin, but it applies to all the PH Journos/news-writers.
Please, please, please STOP the 'tabloid style' false headline news writing. I understand that you want the headlines to be attendion grabbing but writing incorrect statements to do so is unnaceptable.
The particular one I'm referring to is todays "DRIVERS OF POWERFUL CARS TO FACE 'SPECIAL TESTS'" story.
No they're not.
Merely a motoring group is calling for this to happen, therefore the headline should be "CALL FOR DRIVERS OF POWERFUL CARS TO FACE 'SPECIAL TESTS'".
Agreed, it's not as exciting a title but at least it's accurate.
Please don't let the standards slip guys, this is blatant sensationalism and you've no need to resort to such amateurish tactics.
Rant over - thanks for listening.

Garlick - They're at it again
the headline said:
OLD DRIVERS TO BE RE-TESTED
whereas the article said:
Drivers over 70 may be faced with a new driving test
Sorry to be pedantic, but this really annoys me!!..and breathe.
