Both red and green lights are lit on my 406 TD keypad probably due to either repeated input of the wrong code or some other error resulting from the car not being used for a while.

Can anyone tell me how long it might need to reset itself or a method to force it to reset and accept code inputs?

I would have thought disconnecting the battery or ecu or keypad would reset it in some way so you can re-enter your original pin code.

For reference

The immobiliser refuses entry of any code after an incorrect one for a set period of time. This disabled time increases with every incorrect input and can go up to several hours.

I disconnected the battery overnight and it allowed a code entry this morning. smile
