Can anyone post the size of the spade connectors on a two pin 35dlm8 distributor amp, I need to make a conversion lead to use the later 3 pin amp.

As far as I can remember they're standard spade connectors i.e. 6.3mm. The adapters are already available, Lucas DAB135 is a kit consisting of the DAB118 ignition module with the minitimer style connector, and a converter to the old 2 pin Lucas spade connectors. The spades and minitimer connectors are all easily available if you want to make your own adapter instead.

Thanks for that. I picked up 4 amps (all 3 pin) and connectors from the breakers last week, just need to crimp the correct spades on the cut off leads to make them usable without modifying the original wiring.

The centre pin of the three is not used on rv8's. The other two are positioned the same, lefthand connector to left hand etc etc.
