New PH Calendar

At PH towers we quite fancy doing a 2008 calendar available through the shop. This will be a thing of beauty with large format, high quality paper and thoughtful design to make the most of the photography.

Now, before I raid the photo library, I thought it might be nice to use photo's from you guys? The images would need to feature cars (racing, road, static, action whatever really) and we would obviously need to choose 12 to make the final cut.

if we were to run competition with some prizes up for grabs and of course, your image used in the calendar, would you be interested?

You'd be welcome to any of mine but there are real pros like F308MAN (amongst others) who could really help you here. I've posted a load of mine of Le Mans on the site but if there is a competition I'll be happy to finish last!

What's the plan with regard to layout?

Full page photo and then opposite page with calendar?

Or calendar overlayed on photo? Martin's one there would be ideal for the latter, for example, but I would guess the majority of pics people have would be more like Hawkeye's, ie framed much tighter.

Come to think of it, there's Goodwood Revival and then the weekend after Watkins Glen Historic GP. Hmmmmmmmmmm. I might even take a camera! Not everyone's cup of tea, but I do like this one from the Revival last year
