Wing Mirror problem

Hi guys,

Any thoughts on this please.

When I try to adjust the wing mirrors on my Chimaera (driver or passenger, same happens) the mirror will start moving, and when I release the button to stop it, the mirror just keeps going as far left (or right) as it can, then just keeps trying to go in that direction forever (which of course it cant, so you just hear the motor whirring away).

Any ideas what's gone wrong? I have to adjust them manually now, which sucks a bit!

Hi Pepsi x, I have a similar and typical problem on my Tuscan which is caused by water getting into the door mounted switch and causing a short failure.
I dont know if your switch is getting wet but it could be that the switch is broke and sticking when you operate it.
