Anyone Fancy Mallory Tomorrow (Sat 18th)

I'm booked for Mallory Park Tomorrow (Sat 18th) in the Novice group with Hottrax - but my s0dding bike is misfiring again - can't really ride it

Just fitted new coil sticks - i was sure it was them... but it's barely ridable so no trackday tomorrow.
Does anyone want to buy the ticket at a discount? I paid £110.

I'll meet them there if needed.

Never mind! After months of mucking about, new spark plugs, new fuel pump, new coils, i think we've found the problem!!


The engine kill switch has 2 screws holding the housing together - a long one on the front of the housing and a short one at the rear, they were the wrong way around meaning that the housing dudn't close up at the front of the bike letting in water - contaminating the kill switch contacts causing it to short out under vibration.

yep, seems to have fixed it. Rode up there and back in the pooring rain and it ran fine -

loved every second of the trackday, dry track all morning but called it a day after lunch as the rain came down hard!!!
