Just taken delivery of a Bora V6 which I'd like to modify. I'm think about a Z-superchargers' supercharger (err...) which would give about 270hp & 250lbft. Does TUV approval say anything about whether the transmission, tyres, brakes etc. will survive this ?

Not as far as I know. It just means the unit is TUV approved.

Incidentally, it's Z-engineering's supercharger!

Oh yeah (D'oh.) Just found out that the supplier offers a 24 month drivetrain warranty, but I don't think I'll bother. Girlf read this thread and not impressed with the concept of another performance vehicle in the family or the concept of the £4k costs involved. I'm buying a Volvo . I'll get so much less grief...
