Hi all, it would have been too good to be true, drive 2.5k to greece, and stay for a month with no probs, clutch went 2 days ago. Hopefully one is on order from the UK. The car is in bits at a mates garage here, waiting for the parts. even though no mechanic has ever seen anything like a tvr before in GR i watched the whole process and its very straight forward, lets hope fitting the new clucth will be as straightforward as the removal of the old one

You may want to show them this guide on Clever Trevor site.
But if they got it off then they should get it back together again.
But it all helps.

Good luck.

Hi,

I´m a German Cerbera Owner. A few month ago my clutch was damaged and I ordered a clevor-trevor one. The Garage has never seen a TVR before but they were used to work on minis and other british cars. I gave them a printout from the workshop manual (with translation) and a day later the clutch was fine. If you need the workshop manual you can download it under: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/dave.hinns/.

Good luck

PS.: The clevor-trevor clutch is much easyer to put and for the first 200-300 miles a bit gruffy.

Thanks for this Mannkork, my mechanic in greece has already removed the old clutch and repaired the damaged disks, i have already ordered a clutch from TVR and slave cylinder form clever trevor, we used the same manual as you just sent me. Today we will attempt to refit the repaired clutch. if it works then thats great if not i will wait for the new one to arrive.

thanks

Why do these idiots even bother? 757 pointless posts in 1 month speaks volumes for me- doesn't really matter what he drives, he'd still be a f*ckwit even if he did upgrade to a superior marque like a Tiv! As for his obsession with the missing girl, did Fred and Rosemary ever have a son called Ian????

Mate, let's hope you and the car get back in one piece soon, beers all round. As for the Cerb, it'll most probably be greased up with Feta and have some Ouzo as clutch fluid, so beware....
