Did anybody else watch the 1st race on ITV4? Lap 1 looked interesting! Apparently in the wet BMW's spin!

Just watching the 2nd race...

It looks like a complete destruction derby weekend again. Highly entertaining but must be rather annoying for the teams. LOTs of smashed up cars, and poor Darren Turner getting caught in a BMW sandwich.

Its almost like watching an action day at castle combe isn't it. They are just pushing so hard in the wet they are going to crash rather than give anything.

Are they now reshowing the 1st 2 races and the 3rd race on ITV1...

I recorded the 1st and second races Live at lunchtime, am watching them now.

On TV now they show highlights of 1 and 2, then the 3rd race live.

Its all a bit mental this weekend...

3rd race about to start, hope Chiltons cars fixed up.

Can I ask why you signed up to Setants purely for the BTCC, when its been on Freeivew on ITV, Every round, for about 3 years?

I got setanta just for the Btcc meetings too. The main reason i prefer it on setanta is you don't get those annoying prats goodman and freakboy on there. Plus you get to what all the support races too

So is BTCC still "i'm in a big team so i can just punt the small team (leader) off and get away with it" thier's something still wrong with BTCC Dodgems.

If I were Mike Jordan I'd be spitting chips - Chilton wasn't very happy with Plato either for some reason smile

Tom Chilton just isn't good enough in my opinion... plus I don't think that interview/bio think he did was much cop - came across poorly I thought.

I was at Brands today watching this. It was a brilliant day, and race 3 was very good. It did get a bit tedious having the safety car out every 5 minutes, and a Renault Clio support race was called off due to "mis-behaving" (two cars into the same barrier during the 2 warm-up laps that were run).

Having only watched F1 recently this was bloody entertaining, such as Turkingtons very fast and very well held 360 at the bottom of Paddock Hill Bend, and the top 3 all spinning down the same part of the track, and all rejoining (one gaining first out of it), and Plato making his way from the back to second (I think??).

Ashame about Turner in race 2 as I had pulled his name out of a hat for a prize draw. Just my luck I get the bloke that doesn't even reach the first corner hehe.

Maybe thats why Vauxhall are running a VXR Race driver of the year competition with the prize of a season in a VXR. hehe
