CHANGING BRAKE PADS ON TUSCAN
Discussion
The cylinders are not threaded (AFAIK). You need a brake wind back tool suitable for Ford Sierra/Granada amongst others. By 'winding' the cylinder back in, it simply rotates the piston in the seal, not against a thread. You can't simply turn the cylinder and expect it to wind back in, you need to apply force as well.

The thread is inside the piston as part of the handbrake brake self adjust mechanism. Gassing Station | Tuscan | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
