Thanks are due again to Richard Wright and Wright racing for the help given in unloading my car on Friday and for Richards help with fixing the Throttle on my truck which had a will of its own on the way up on Friday!!

Many congratulations to Steve Glynn on a very good maiden pole position, fastest lap and win. Steve drove very well on slicks with rain beginning to fall at the start and a shower in the middle of the race making the track quite greasy in places. Not easy to judge grip levels when you can see rain on the windscreen and the odd damp patch on the road!! Very bad luck Dean.

Thanks to all who turned out. 15 cars went out for qualifying which is a good effort. We need to keep the numbers up for Brands Hatch. The provisional timetable looks good and it is the last race meeting in the Series so we need to make a good impression to help negotiations for next year.

Thanks Hui, I appreciate your comments. It was a good day despite the weather and I'm really grateful to Tim and Terry for all their hard work in enabling me to get out there. It looked very doubtful at one point and with the engine out of the Tuscan now, sadly means that it's very unlikely I shall be able to compete at Brands.

Just in case I can't make BH, I'd like to say thanks to everyone for making 2007 another great year for the Series. We're going from strength to strength now and it's looking like 2008 could be the best for some years!

Looking forward to it already! Best wishes,
Steve
