Proof the standard induction on a 500 is really nasty.

Here's a graph showing intake manifold pressure & throttle position from a recent rolling road session. There are 3 power runs worth of data shown on the graph.

Not exactly ideal, is it...

That's better than I would have expected tbh. Where were you measuring MAP? Hard to get a reading downstream of the trumpets but that's where the really interesting figures would be.

we had a lot of interest on the stand over the weekend, and I hope to fit these onto Dave`s griff in a few weeks, then have some serious back to back rolling road testing done to compare it to a standard set up, so if all goes to plan we should have some graphs up on the v8 enhancements website and hope to start marketing the phlenums sometime in the next month or so, fingers crossedhehe

It's Dave Blades. Also, can you give Clive Ford credit for making my daft idea a reality? Thanks.

Pete - The MAP reading was taken from the plenum next to the fuel pressure connector, so pre-trumpets.

Pasco, after building up to the weekend with all the hype about beating the crap out of you, I assumed, and wrongly it seems, that things were now back to normal, as everyone saw that we are infact good angelmates, suprising as it may seem, you being a tosser and all!!

so am I right in assuming that the verbal abuse is now back to being the general order of the day? just want to know, as I wouldn`t want to be seen to be behaving in a polite manner towards you.hehe

Mike - that would be good! As you say, we can't really do worse than the std setup...

It'll be at least a month before we're anything like ready.
