I think it is exhaust catching rear near side somewhere. Even gives out a noise just by pushing down on the rear end of the car... oh ere missus..!

Anyhow, I would appreciate it if you could let me know if this seems the likely cause... and any guidelines on fixing it would be appreciated. I'm guessing a simple adjustment is required???

Don't tell me you hit the metal pole during the Esholt meet the other day Graham. To be honest you get more or a bang sort of sound rather than a squeek unless its the rubber hanger. After that it's a 100 and one different things to look at.

LOL - been getting more noticable for a while.. I discovered on the way out that if you shimmy down the right hand side you can just get past the nasty pole. "Its a bit tight though and much more difficult to do on the way in"... I'll be parking outside next time.

. . . could also be dry arb bushes - like wot mine were when it made this kind of noise a while back biggrin
