Not to bad though, on my way back from Brands last night going quite quickly the wipers failed, did all the normal things like fuses and relays etc to no avail, on the back of a AA truck at the moment on it's way to Picadors so if you see it give it a wave.

Interesting, let us know what it was. Probably bad wiring? I cant imagine the wiper motor dying... unless its made in china smile

Sily question, did the motor stop or not?? If the linkgage came loose that may be why, the reason I ask is that mine was loose on first use.

No it just jacked, no noises, fuses and relays O.K. and no sound from wiper motor, only had to struggle a couple of miles almost blind but that was not fun, only took 25mins for the AA to arrive, fantastic service or do you think I was lucky.!

My vectra had the ball joint thing come out. Could tell because the wipers were moving freely. Common problem apparently.

If you had used a potato cut in half and rubbed the white bit all over the glass it would have kept clear for some time. It may have to be repeated a few times on a long journey, but I promise that it works.

or buy some Rainex from Halfords, it's less messy than potatoes or wee.

Thanks for all the tips lads but it's all better now, the wiper motor had as I thought died, Picadors have done a great job, I think they nicked one of a new car as it may have taken some time to get one, just as well as it pi@@ed down on the way back.

We don't get much rain in Aus (as you may know), water restrictions in many parts of the country as well. So testing of wipers is, well, difficult........

Wipers have been getting a big workout also down here in Sth East Queensland recently.
Some regions around Noosa have received over 30 inches of rain in the past few days.
