....decided it had had enough of living on the Z4C and left the car at 80 on the M1 on Saturday when heading up to Huddersfield. Heard the clunk as something hit the windscreen but thought no more of it. When I got there I noticed the hole in the bumper where the cover should be. The HL wash still works fine but i'll pop to the dealer at lunchtime to see what the two inch piece of plastic will cost to replace.

Anyone want to have a guess as to the price? I'll post after lunch with the answer!

Complete replacement of of Headlamp Washer unit, as individual part not available as a replacement: £268.45

I'm obviously guessing here hehe

And the answer is £19.80, supplied in primer. Annoying thing is the complete lack of surprise that it had fallen off in the first place, so I asked why not. Oh they all do sooner or later was the reply. So much so that there is a worldwide back order if you want one supplied in body colour.

hats off to the dealer bloke who suggested I get it painted elsewhere and save myself about £60
