Sidelights, what bulbs?

Ordered some bulbs advertised as "501 bulbs sidelight for TVR Chimaera", they have arrived and are the wrong ones. Are 501 bulbs the correct and he has sent something else?

I did something similar - bought from ebay. The "free" 501 bulbs don't have the baytonet on the end and don't fit my car. The seller said they'd take them back, but to be honest I don't think I'll bother as you can buy the correct bulbs for a few quid - far more hassle to remove the halogens, repack and send back.

Same just happened to me too!

After a little research, the bulb type is a "T4W" if you want led bulbs, then the fitment you need in led is "BA9s".

Both bulbs are the same fitment, just different type numbers depending on if you go standard or led.
