I dunno, they can't be bothered to turn up, then demand photos!

Where's Bacardi when you need him - his camera's better than mine smile

I,m afraid that I only took 5 all day ! I never seemed to have the the camera with me at the right time.

I post a couple up later as Photobucket is down for maintainance at the minute so I can't get them uploaded.

Here we go then. Sorry that there are not more.

Colin's lovely C3 Corvette

David Palmer's equally lovely C5 (soon to have new wheels he tells me)

Part of our line up for the day

And finally, David's (crankup) latest toy. By heck is it small !

That's a clever shot, was it intentional (be honest!), as it looks like he's got a huge tobacco pipe stuck in his mouth, but it's acutally part of the engine?!

What lense & camera were you using for these?

I'm thinking of getting a DSLR to replace my current film slr & powershot combo, think I'll wait for the new Canon Eos1ds mk3 when it comes out or maybe a hassleblad... any prefs? (just as long as it's not a Nikon!!!)

As Mark says, that is his pipe. Smoking that and driving what he's driving gives him a loverly big carbon footprint... top man! thumbup

1DmkIII, 70-200L 2.8 + some with 1.4x converter.

What Hasselblad are you thinking of? That's a different horse for a different course. I use 'blads 85% of the time for work so I guess that's my preference (given the course).

I would wait until reviews of the 1ds before buying, see if they have focus issues like the 1D. Unless you have a bunch of lenses, why not Nikon? Announcement due before the end of the month of new D3... apparently. If it's as good as some rumours I've heard (doubtful), I'll be buying one smile.
