I've done a search on this one as I thought it might have come up before but couldn't find anything..

Just about to order an E90 (330i M-Sport) and am torn between:

Titanium Silver with Black Dakota Leather
or
Le Mans Blue with Lemon Dakota Leather

Silver/Black is obviously the sensible option but a bit boring perhaps. I am tempted by the Blue/Lemon but worried about how the seats will look after 60,000 miles. Depreciaion is not an issue as this is a company car.

Does anyone have experience of how the lemon leather holds up over a couple of years?

Much appreciated.smile

Le Mans blue with lemon would definately be my choice of the two. No question that the lemon leather will be more difficult to keep than the black, but I think that if you're prepared to spend about an hour, once a month, giving it a going over with leather cleaner and feeding it, it should hold up fine.

This was my 335i touring in le Mans with Lemon...

If I were to order again I would choose the same interior but go for the Piano black trim or the dark grey wood.

We went for Lemon Dakota Leather with Le Mans Blue on our 335d M Sport. After six months it still looks mint but we wipe it over every two weeks. Didn't like the silver trim so went for Burr Walnut (even the gear selector knob).
