Supercharger-friendly insurance

Balls & Arse! just phoned Elephant to declare my soon-to-be-fitted SC and they said they will not cover it! Therefore I find myself in search of someone who'll cover me.

The car is an 06 CV8 with Wortec cat-back and said supercharger; I'm 36 with full no claims and no convictions, any recommendations?

Try www.diamondinsurance.net

They insure my GTS and LC quite happily at a very reasonable cost. I know an awful lot of LC people use them because they are good value and offer agreed value policies.

(make sure that you use .net or you'll end up at the women only insuers by mistake!)

Having just been down this route I found A. Plan very good but you have to phone and chat to them, no on line rubbish.

used aplan previously - good cover but couldnt match good deal for the year previous :-(

Called A-Plan today, they covered me for just over £600 for 10k miles/year so I took it on the spot. Normally I'd shop around but there aren't that many options when you tell them you have a supercharged Monaro! Thanks for all the advice guys.
