Seat Bracket Fabrication?
Discussion
Anyone know a company competent to safely fabricate some seat brackets for side mount buckets that I want to mount on some recaro or even BMW OEM sliders? Hopefully somewhere in the South East of England. I've already established I could get a great job done by Black Falcon near the ring
Thanks,
Dan
Any decent fabricator will be able to knock up some seat frames. Depends where in the south you are but try GHE based in Maldon, 01621 856956. As long as you have the seat to be used and the frames your going to use should be an easy job.
Just out of interest are you planning on using alu or steel?

Dunno - probably steel as I'm not sure I trust ally if its bodged up Just out of interest are you planning on using alu or steel?
Thanks for the recommendations chaps. So far the universal mounts I've seen would put the seat up too high, but will check out the items suggested.
If anyone knows a competent place south of London (surrey area), that would be ideal. Essex is ok, but a bit of a slog in this car...
SDW can do pukka bent aluminium seat brackets without cracking (8mm plate I think)
They should also be able to help you out if you'd prefer a fabricated route.
