At last

Took delivery of my 56 plate VXR 500 in the fastest colour on Saturday. King hell what a fabulous machine. I've lusted after one for to long. Cost me a set of curtains in Laura Ashley but its worth it. Am putting my name down for Thruxton so hope to meet up with some of you guys then.

Where did you get your 500 from...? and I know how you feel, love the sound mine makes. Need some sunny weather and a few big bikes on the autobahns this weekend now to have some real fun..

Same place as you. Didn't quite have the readies for yours!!! I've hardly got time to change gear with mine let alone 600 bhp. I'm based in South Wales and I think these machines are quite rare here. Is there any body else in this area!!!

I almost got that one but after sampling the 600 version I was sold! Was gonna get an RS4 but as a toy these are soooo much more fun! Enjoy it but be carefull for those nasty welsh traffic police!

Black is faster but its a be-atch to keep clean!

Yeah I scived off work early to wash the journey home dirt off. It took ages but with the final wipe of the shammy the sun came out. I think there's another ro fan out there somewhere. Trouble was I then just had to take it out and listen to that wail and howl. I want to listen to it go by but I don't trust anyone else to drive it.

Am also in South Wales with a VXR (once again in the fastest colour , though regrettably no VXR500)

Just remeber there is a black cv8 out there. With 600bhp or a little over.with all the bits fitted. Under new ownership. Lucky bloke.

I've been told there's some one just north of Cardiff with over 700 bhp in a ro. Apparently they also own an M5 and a Dodge SRT 10. That's all they knew. I'd never get to work if I opened up that garage every morning.

Hi, and welcome to the club!!! I'm just North of Cardiff and have a QUICKsilver 04 CV8 with some modifications. Was it you I saw this afternoon (A449-M50) in a black 56 plate? About 4pm headed north.

Now I know these ro's are fast but! Sorry not me on 449. I'm in Porthcawl area.I work in Cardiff/Newport area but have to use Vectra diesel for that. Still haven't seen another ro in these parts before though.

I work down in Wales and would echo the 'keep your eyes open for the BIB statement'. I am up and down the M4 3 days a week between Cardiff, Swansea and around the local area. Never seen another Ro in Wales...
