Wax on Metallic Silver paint

Any reccomendations on which wax to use on Metallic silver paint (BMW)?
Currently using Zymol Creame, but interested to find out if anyone uses other waxes that they feel give a better shine to that colour paint.
Car has been clayed and HD'd recently so all paintwork is smooth.
I've just started using the Dodo Juice range, and have Purple Haze (for my black car) and Banana Armour (for my green car) both are fantastic, and from the reviews, rival the Zymol range comfortably until you go into the much higher price ranges. I'd suggest what you're using is fine, but what are you putting on beforehand? Getting a good glaze on prior to waxing makes a big difference.Currently using Zymol Creame, but interested to find out if anyone uses other waxes that they feel give a better shine to that colour paint.

Last time out I used Meguiars #7 then Dodo Purple Haze, and it looked fantastic, my previous was P21s (looks great) but it's nowhere near as durable.
A good friend, a very good detailer, is using Swissvax Best Of Show, but not too sure what it's like on silver, but would imagine pretty good on anything.
Get on over to detailingworld.co.uk and you'll find plenty of advice!
Nice one - cheers for that.
Just got some Bananna Armour this morning! Will see how that comes out, reviews seem pretty good and bonus is it's much cheaper than my Zymol.
Didn't glaze this car as I sometimes find my Klasse a real pain in the rear to get off properly, but I'll have a look over on detailing world and see what the general concensus is.
Thanks again

Try a sealant before the wax and see how you get on. I'm not a big fan of glazes, as I just don't seem to get the results I want. I love my Chemical Guys Jetseal109 though.
Strange, as I was eyeing up the 109 just this morning, and reading the full reviews on DW. Looks like it may be well worth buying....after just seeing these pics (hope the owner doesn't mind)After application and 750 miles of driving

After pressure washer only! no mitts etc!!

Not tried it yet myself - due to soon (ish), but don't overlook Bilt Hamber Auto Balm.
Colour of car is immaterial IMO - shiny is shiny, protection is protection*.
Too much song and dance made about how this one is optically better than that one, but not as wet looking as another one.
Empirically measured, perhaps, but to the general observer - wouldn't notice the difference unless pointed out to them, and even then some will struggle to see it or appreciate the difference.

- Don't believe all you read about protection longevity - and don't confuse beading with protection either.

I'm getting a sample of the 109 this weekend, will let you know how I get on. Colour of car is immaterial IMO - shiny is shiny, protection is protection*.

Chessers - You did glaze, HD Cleanse acts as quite a heavy glaze on its own, as well as a good surface prep for the wax.
Jetseal is an excellent product, I use it on most of my details. On the lighter colours like Silver, it gives a really glossy sharp reflection. As per the bottle, apply a thin layer all over the car, leave it for 15-20 minutes. Buff it off (very easy to do, even if the car has been sat in direct sun). Leave it for another 15 minutes, then repeat with another layer.
Stand back and feel smug.

I used Victoria Collectors wax on my RS4 and so far it's definately as good as any of the other waxes I've tried.

Last week I gave the car a quick wash as it was sunny but just as I sat down to admire my hard work it rained
but I was left with this

The beading isn't as tight but it's definately still doing a job. Using a open hose the water does just sheet off though if beading isn't your bag.
